Depositing, step by step

A deposit takes a minute and can cause trouble for a week if one step is skipped. The order below is not a formality: each element has a direct consequence for the moment the money will be able to leave again.

Open the cashier

The correct sequence

  1. Check the operator. The licence holder and the domain should appear in the public ONJN register. This is done once, before the first deposit.
  2. Complete KYC. Not required to deposit, but required to withdraw — see the registration guide.
  3. Set a deposit limit. From the responsible gambling settings, before entering any amount.
  4. Choose the channel. The full comparison is in the payments section; pick something you can also use on the way out.
  5. Activate an offer, if you want one. Checkbox or code, on the same screen, before confirming.
  6. Confirm and check the balance. Cards and wallets normally show immediately; a bank transfer can take hours or a working day.

The account-holder rule

The payment instrument has to be in the name of the person holding the gaming account. This is not an operator preference but the consequence of the identification duty attached to the licence: if funds arrive from a card belonging to somebody else, a withdrawal to the account holder becomes impossible to justify. In practice, a deposit from a friend’s or a relative’s card turns into a frozen withdrawal request and a long exchange with support.

When the money does not appear

The right first reflex is not a support ticket but a look at the transaction status in your banking or wallet app. Most cases are payments that have left your account and are still being processed at the destination — a delay, not a loss. If the situation persists, what matters is the transaction reference: a payment is traced by that number, not by your name or an approximate time.

Prepare a screenshot of the transaction, its reference and the exact time, then send them through the channels described on the support page. If the answer is unreasonably slow, the formal escalation route is set out on the complaints page.

What happens immediately afterwards

The amount lands in the lei balance you play and withdraw from. If you activated an offer, part of that balance is promotional credit with its own conditions — rollover, expiry, maximum stake — explained in the wagering requirements guide. If you activated nothing, the money stays as own funds and can leave at any time via the procedure in the withdrawals guide.

Frequently asked questions

My deposit has not arrived. What now?
Check the transaction status in your banking or wallet app first. Money that has left your account is often still in processing on the operator’s side. Save the transaction reference and the payment proof, then send both to support — a payment is traced by that reference, not by your name.
Can I deposit using somebody else’s card?
No. The payment instrument has to be in the account holder’s name, because withdrawals return along the same channel and a licensed operator must confirm the identity of the beneficiary. A deposit from a third-party card effectively blocks the exit.
Can a bonus be added after the deposit?
No. Offers are activated before the payment is confirmed, by ticking a box or entering a code on the same cashier screen. A settled transaction stays without its promotion, whatever the subsequent conversation with support.
