Bank transfer and its different logic

The bank transfer is the least glamorous and most predictable rail on the list. It lacks the speed of cards and wallets, and offers in exchange looser limits and an impeccable paper trail — which is exactly what matters for larger amounts or for any later clarification.

Choosing bank transfer in the cashier produces the account details and, more importantly, a payment reference. The order is initiated from your own banking app, in lei, with that reference copied exactly. It is the key by which your payment is identified and allocated to the gaming account. A freely written note in the details field, however descriptive, helps nobody and delays allocation.

The amount reaches the balance once the banking system has processed the transfer — typically the same working day for orders placed in the morning, the next day for evening or weekend orders. That is the bank’s schedule, not a platform delay.

Withdrawal

The payout goes to a bank account in the name of the gaming account holder, arriving in one to three working days after approval. This is the direction where the transfer shows its advantage: per-transaction and per-interval limits are usually more generous than on any other channel, which makes it the natural choice for amounts that would otherwise be split across several requests.

As with every rail, the first withdrawal waits for KYC. The proof usually requested here is a bank statement showing the holder’s name and the IBAN. The process is described in the withdrawals guide and the document list in the registration guide.

When to choose it

A useful side effect

Unlike a card payment made in three seconds, a transfer requires opening the banking app, filling in an order and confirming it. That friction, usually described as a disadvantage, works in practice as a filter against impulsive deposits. Anyone wanting firmer control can combine it with the limits in the responsible gambling section, which apply regardless of channel.

Local context

Worth noting as a Romanian specificity: operators with a land-based network sometimes allow deposits and payouts at an agency counter. That route sits entirely outside the banking system, exists only where the operator has such a network, and is a question for the operator directly. The remaining online rails are compared in the payments section.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a transfer slower than a card?
Because it follows the banking system’s schedule rather than the platform’s. Orders sent after the banking day closes, or over a weekend, enter processing on the next working day, which is what produces the one to three day range.
Must the bank account be in my name?
Yes. The bank account holder has to match the gaming account holder, because a licensed operator must identify the beneficiary of a payment. An account in another name makes the withdrawal impossible to justify.
What do I write in the payment details?
Exactly the reference shown by the cashier and nothing else. That reference is how the payment is matched to your account; a freely written message, however descriptive, delays allocation.
